Lancashire-based Multicare is working to help disabled and elderly people gain independence with its stairlifts and mobility products.

Many mobility products become essential to modern living as you get older.

Therefore, it is important for elderly and disabled people to know they can have their stairlift repaired if necessary because they are dependent on them.

Multicare has created a busy service department to make sure they always handle all services and repair needs.

Martin Baldwin, of Multicare, said: "We can service and repair most leading makes of stairlifts, scooters and other mobility equipment.

"Friendly engineers will carry out your stairlifts repairs quickly, efficiently, with no mess or fuss."

Because they are so important, the Government, in some cases, allow mobility products to have a reduced VAT rate.

Products where over 60s can do this include bath lifts, shower seats, grab rails, ramps and stairlifts.

Some disabled people with long-term illnesses might not have to pay any VAT.Reduction even includes supplying and installing the products.

Working in partnership with Social Services, Occupational Therapists, and other prescribers, the company helps customers choose from an extensive selection of mobility equipment.
